Ummm... Correction time...

On second glance, it seems I overstated the above. Not "all" of the 
Opteron assets owned by Sun Microsystems were engineered and built in 
partnership with Sanmina-SCI. Some of the Opteron assets are from 
companies acquired by Sun and others were internally developed. None 
the less, all of the Sun branded Opteron gear I've seen is high quality 
regardless of origin.
