Thanks Otto, trusted as always ! Still I think man adduser isn't very clear; the examples are also somewhat confusing; as well as the seemingly non-functional '-group'. [-batch username [group[,group] ...] indicates an optional group, which it isn't. Also the third example seems to imply that one can do without. I did try it, with -group falken, and also it didn't work. With both Darren and me trying our best, some improvement is possible here. I leave it to the native speakers, though, to offer a diff.
