The UP kernel did work fine as well, but the server has such a high load that MP was required. This was why I installed NetBSD on it. However, the responsible admin replaced it with Linux because of a mod_python problem, and now it reboots from time to time for no apparent reason, the secondary ethernet flips up and down and the RAID can't autoconfigure itself when a disk is replaced. Also, the SATA performance is degraded to about 50%. But well. Tonnerre [demime 1.01d removed an attachment of type application/pgp-signature]
