Thanks Riley! I would rather leave rc alone - but found out that using noauto option may stop the device from giving out DHCP leases after reboot - some sort of conflict, but haven't figured it out yet - or proven that it's the noauto option. It seems healthier with the comment in /etc/rc - but testing more...
