please, everyone: don't trim the dmesg, even if it seems to you that most of is irrelevant. You definitely removed one important piece of information: the exact version of OpenBSD in use. You may have removed something else useful too, without seeing the dmesg who knows? For USB problems, include `usbdevs -v' output too, it will list the device vendor and product codes.
