http://www.networkupstools.org/compat/stable.html I use both a Smart-UPS 620/700 with NUT without any issues. Both are using the apcsmart driver, and a 940-0024C cable. Not sure about the UPS you speak of, but am guessing it uses: newhidups or hidups driver. First I would add NUT from packages, then follow: http://www.networkupstools.org/doc/2.0.0/INSTALL.html This should go through mostly everything you need to configure NUT to work with your UPS.
