Not being familiar with UML specifically, I find this amusing. Years ago I learned all the "structured" techniques around the time OO was taking off. I learned some of the OO modelling, too. I found Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and transaction-based analysis quite useful, even in an OO context. Have things gotten *worse* since then?
