GR> Dear fellows,

GR> i have two disks, my first disk (wd0) is running XP, my second (wd1)
GR> is running openbsd 3.9.
GR> In order to boot openbsd from windows boot manager, i did the following:

GR> $ dd if=/dev/rwd1a of=obsd.pbr bs=512 count=1
GR> /* copied to windows c:\ and added the following line on boot.ini */

GR> c:\obsd.pbr="OpenBSD"

GR> When i turn on the machine, i just get the selection screen. After
GR> selecting openbsd, nothing is showed. The screen is totally black with
GR> a blink cursor on top left corner.

GR> Does anybody have any ideia why it does not work.

GR> PS: Initially i believed it was because of XP and OBSD are on
GR> different HD, is it any sense?

GR> Thanks in advance.

Just install FreeBSD boot loader into MBR of first drive. It has an
option to boot from second drive.
