How do you handle greylisting of valid users?

I have just tested spamd. Valid users trying to sent mail through my SMTP server are greylisted and need to try again after 'passtime'. And when their IP changes (DSL lines) they need to do it again, which could be irritating of course.

How do you handle such cases? I believe there's no solution for this because spamd is working on top of the MTA.

Whitelisting is not an option in such case.

I like the whole spamd idea and implementation, but need something that would not harm valid users (like me ;>).. I'm affraid I need to switch to postgrey for greylisting, so mail from smtp-auth'ed users would not be greylisted :/
