If you're looking for a harness that doesn't need a bunch of node/Pypi packages you could run mine: swiley.net/melder. It's intentionally minimalist and self contained. All you need is the standard CPython distribution and an inference provider (llama.cpp, openrouter, codex via the proxy although the one on that page is out of date.)
