Is Plan9 a real alternative to OpenBSD? My understanding is that no
serious development has been done on Plan9 in, literally, decades.
I installed 9front on one of my computers, on which it appears that
serious development is still -- rarely, but occasionally -- still
being done. But even 9front is still, in my opinion, quite clearly a
toy operating system, not suitable for real work. OpenBSD is, in
contrast, an operating system on which one can do real work. (I do
not use OpenBSD for real work, but I would if it supported ZFS).
