Transparent Data Encryption Extension for PostgreSQL

Hi misc,
Would like to ask the maintainer of the postgresql-server package if
https://github.com/percona/postgres.git extension for transparent data
encryption can be included among the installable extension.
Please advise what possible risks there are that discourages inclusion of
this extension.
