Yes, definitely.  What is sure is that text mode is mandatory.  So you
should try that first.  Then, in a second step only, Intel MRC instead
of libremrc, which will require you to retrieve the latest version of
libreboot released with IntelMRC.  (You will then have the same thing
as me, which has been working without any problems for at least 2-3
years.)
