I connect from linux to obsd 7.8.

I did not have this problem with 7.7, and the wifi I use is an obsd, so at 
least the net drivers and ssh are called into question.

ssh is known to require stable network: on a wifi, if the signal goes down and 
up, ssh link is compromised.

I am trying to pinpoint the problem while noting when it happens. Not easy. For 
example, after login, I start typing a command then hit tab and the console 
freezes. I use vim a lot to edit configurations and scripts, and it freezes.
