I'm using OpenBSD 3.8 and OSPFD  and carp.

Syslog reports:

netstat -m

        35 mbufs allocated to socket names and addresses

4456 Kbytes allocated to network (66% in use)
0 requests for memory denied
0 requests for memory delayed
0 calls to protocol drain routinesenviroment
