Dear list,

the readme for syncthing says that if syncthing is run
via an rc.d(8) script, one can add lines

       syncthing:\
                :openfiles-cur=4096:\
                :openfiles-max=4096:\
                :tc=daemon:

to the /etc/login.conf .

I see there is a user _syncthing with *no* login class (::)
specified in the /etc/master.passwd. Hence I would expect
the 'default' login class will be used for the process
(which supposedly runs under the _syncthing user).

Is it really true that the syncthing part mentioned above
is applied? Or does one have to change the login class
for _syncthing to be 'syncthing'?

Thank you for clarification.

Best regards
Ruda
