Hi all,

I have detected a problem with OpenBSD 7.6 on KVM-based virtualization
platforms, especially under RHEL. If I set the virtual machine architecture to
‘q35’, the OpenBSD installer does not boot and causes a reboot during CPU
detection. On the other hand, if I set the architecture to ‘pc-i440fx’, the
installer runs smoothly and the installation can be performed normally.

Is this a bug or is it q35 is not supported for OpenBSD virtual guests?

Best regards,
C. L. Martinez
