Hello misc@ I was helping a friend set up her laptop with OpenBSD 7.6 the other day, and she was testing some of the things she would need in her day-to-day use. Her video playback was stuttering with mpv, so I told her that she should install the intel-media-driver package. This wasn't obvious to her that she would need a package with the current documentation situation in the FAQ.
That brings me to ask this question: Wouldn't it be worth putting in faq13 that the VAAPI stuff is included in xenocara, and if the user is on intel, that they'd need either the intel-media-driver or intel-vaapi-driver package (depending on cpu gen)?
