I didn't forget about the software, I left it out by choise. The fact is.. I agree completely with you about your initiative for the driver of the reader, it is something to do. I can even plan to save my no pennies to buy a reader for you given the proper destination address. Instead, the matter of the middleware is all to envision, an alive substance.. I should point you out about the software realeased by my authorities, that you mention you can try to reverse engineering, uh.. Furthermore, as Ze said the portuguese authorities release periodically their own middleware and this happens in most of other countries. At my side I add you the org of developers behind open source projects of the italian authorities should be behind the italian middleware project (I can bring you even more details and coords). From here what to go then, doing ports of all westerner middlwares maybe starting a collaboration between dev communities or envision a total different software approach possibly to simplify situation around for the benefit of all?
