I'm using an Asus A8N-E with an Athlon64 3200+. Everything seems to work fine except:
1) I cannot access the network with nfe0. Any attempt to use the device results in errors like "tx error v2: 0x6004" repeated ad nauseum. An fxp PCI card works fine. 2) The onboard auich(4) device is usable, but within ~30 seconds of the start of audio output, e.g. playing an mp3, I get clicks, pops, and eventually totally garbled output. It gets progressively worse with time (huh?). Here is my dmesg: OpenBSD 3.9-current (GENERIC) #483: Thu Mar 23 20:30:10 MST 2006 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/src/sys/arch/amd64/compile/GENERIC real mem = 536408064 (523836K) avail mem = 448163840 I do not know if it is of any import, but the link rate seems to change slightly when I tinker with the FSB speed/PCI bus clock. I have no insight into the nfe(4) problem. I'd love to use the onboard devices on this motherboard to free up some expansion slots (and to get my money's worth!).
