Hello misc, I’m slowly adding IPV6 support to my (e-mail) setup. For anti-spam mechanism I want to use spamd(8) because it has served me well so far, but it only supports IPV4. Are there any plans to also add the same functionalities for IPV6?
The only discussion regarding this topic I could find was this thread on misc from 7 years ago, but no clear conclusions were made: https://marc.info/?l=openbsd-misc&m=151855575802585&w=2 I’m also CCing P. Hessler. His name was mentioned in the above conversation and hopefully this time he could provide some insight into the matter for which I would be grateful for.
