Hello,

At my first copy of a 7.6 system, stick to stick (same UUID indeed) by
my usual copy machine, after the user login I get this:

<mod>
You have new mail.
Floating point exception
<prompt>

X session doesn't start.

I'm fishing among these eventual happenings:
- you memorize somewhere a specific device id associated to the specific UUID;
- there is a new device protection in place after 7.6;
- my copy / copy machine has some problem (but I haven't seen this copy
  machine fail one time in years).

side notes:
- disk uuid are same between copies;
- my /etc/fstab is all specified by uuid.

Any hint? Where I have to start from to understand the cause?

Dan
