The patch has already been tested, there are problems with connections
getting stuck. See later messages in the thread.

for PCI devices I'd expect them to use pci_intr_establish_cpu if doing
multi queue.

seems about what I'd expect.

forwarding petformance will be a bit higher - if you're interested in that,
do a test which measures that - locally originated or received packets go
through different parts of the network stack than forwarded packets.
