Thank you for your assistance. We have resolved all issues and OpenBSD
7.6 is running well.
The issue boiled down to the partitioning of the hdd which had been
damaged. My fault, I had stupidly hit Ctl-C at a bad time to bail out
quickly. With the hdd blanked and re-partitioned all went well.
Yes, downloading the sets was a slow way of doing an install, but I am
certain that a complete install iso with the sets would now work fine
(although I am in no mood to try having lost count of how many time I
have typed in the response to the installation choices and requests).
So now I am fitting out the bare bones to my needs. I hope I can be of
as much help to the community as you have all been to me at this time.
