From the dmesg:

Regarding the lack of suspend functionality, I had a similar issue on a machine with a TPM chip identified as "TIS".

I was able to make suspend work correctly by disabling tpm* in UKC / boot -c config, and make the change permanent in /etc/bsd.re-config.

YMMV of course (this was an S3 machine) but it's easy and quick to test.
