When testing several 'lighter' web browsers based on WebkitGTK, I found that
they are all unable to play back video due to errors from the webkitgtk backend.

I tested Surf (webkitgtk40-2.44.4) and Luakit (webkitgtk41-2.44.4). Epiphany
shows the same inability to play video but also has other issues (like using
20% CPU with no pages open) so I didn't pursue that very far.

OpenBSD emulti8.emulti.net 7.6 GENERIC.MP#338 amd64
packages updated with pkg_add -u
dmesg below

webkitgtk40-2.44.4 (installed)
webkitgtk41-2.44.4 (installed)

On startup Surf shows:
$ surf
WARNING: Kernel has no file descriptor comparison support: Resource temporarily
unavailable
WARNING: Kernel has no file descriptor comparison support: Operation not
supported by device
Could not read style file: /home/chris/.surf/styles/default.css

Then if a video is played (tested both Youtube and other sites, no difference):

** (WebKitWebProcess:10093): WARNING **: 14:27:50.619: The GStreamer FDK AAC
plugin is missing, AAC playback is unlikely to work.

The 'Gstreamer FDK plugin' error seems to be related to Webkit dropping support
for the AAC plugin in gstreamer-libav, though their website says this is 'new
in 2.46' and we have 2.44. The 'FDK' plugin is supposed to be part of
gstreamer1-plugins-bad, which is installed. I also tried installing
audio/fdk-aac to no effect.

Is "Kernel has no file descriptor comparison support" an expected error on
OpenBSD due to our fd implementation?

The same errors are shown both with Luakit, Surf and Epiphany so I am
suspecting it's WebkitGTK doing all the complaining.

Does anyone have any ideas what the video playback issue might be, or is this
expected behaviour for WebkitGTK on OpenBSD?
It would be nice to have a general-purpose alternative to Chromium+derivatives
and Firefox on OpenBSD, particularly as Mozilla seem to be turning to an
ad-monetizing business model.
