Hi, The FreeBSD is ThinkPad X280 and has USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A. The Windows+OpenBSD is ThinkPad X1 Carbon gen10 and has USB 3.2 Type-A Gen2.
Using FreeBSD, the soundbar was connected directly to an USB type-A. Using Windows, the soundbar was connected to a USB type-A via the monitor USB type-C hub. Using OpenBSD, I tried both the USB-A on monitor via USB-C hub and connect directly to the USB-A of the ThinkPad. OpenBSD outputs were copied while connected to USB-A. But connecting via USB-C hub had the same effect.
