Probably important to add that different OSes have different use for partitions, and OpenBSD makes certain settings based on that you have several partitions, so you can contain certain programs to have more (wxallowed) or less (nodev, noexec) permission depending on where they are located. If you come from other OSes, you might have had a decent experience using a single / if this OS doesn't treat them differently, in such cases then having more than one partition could be a negative, but on OpenBSD it is a security benefit. -- May the most significant bit of your life be positive.
