Did bwfm ever work on M1 macbook pros?

Is this Asahi installer dance documented anywhere? The release notes
for 7.5 on Apple silicon don't call out anything special.

If there is a magic blob from Asahi that's required to get
this running I would appreciate it if somebody who has done
this could send me a copy along with some instructions on
how to glue it in.

Thanks,
