That's not the problem.  In fact, igc0 is assigned an IP of 192.168.10.192 in
the ifconfig output.

But that was running with the ramdisk kernel.

There is obviously an issue with interrupt routing on that machine which is
not apparent when booting the ramdisk kernel because there it's using
'traditional' interrupt lines, but the regular GENERIC kernel tries to use
msi-x.

Note that the azalia driver, (which is not included in the ramdisk kernel), is
reporting a similar error in the dmesg output.
