KDE Plasma crashes on startup with second wallpaper folder added

When I try to configure the wallpaper by right-clicking on the desktop,Plasma goes to a blank screen with only the mouse visible. When I wentthrough plasma system settings to wallpaper, I found the folder ofbackgrounds set to:


/usr/local/share/wallpapers


I tried to add a second folder:

/usr/local/share/openbsd-backgrounds

As soon as I hit Apply, all Plasma items disappeared leaving only themouse shown and functioning on a black screen.


On next login, Plasma went immediately to that same black screen.

What config file can I edit to revert and remove the openbsd-backgroundsfolder from the wallpaper folders and restore Plasma functionality?


Details on my system:

Installed latest snapshot on July 9 2024.

Sysupgraded to Aug 10 snapshot, rebooted, updated all packages,rebooted, installed kde-plasma-extras. It worked well enough before Iadded the second wallpaper folder.
