Ah, I missed the right threads when searching previously. Apparently I
wasn't specific enough. Now I found the message you mentioned:

I've set Security > I/O Port Access > Thunderbolt(TM) 3 to "Disabled" in
the BIOS and now the problem is gone. Thanks a ton!
