In a server with an encrypted root - server boots with key in USB stick, not passphrase.Can I remove the USB stick with the key, after the server is up and running?
Yes
Will I have any problems doing that?
No. Though not at the moment, I used such a setup for years. Only inserting the stick for reboots.
