I'm assuming that you only have a single disk in this machine, and that you are not multi-booting with another OS. If this is not the case, let us know. Does the machine actually boot in to your old system now if you do: boot sr0a:/bsd at the boot prompt? Or does the kernel boot, but complain that it cannot find the root volume? If the machine does boot, you probably just need to run: # installboot -v sd1
