Hello, I have an issue with Telit LM960A18 LTE modem. I use MBIM and it works as it works.
1. Modem is discovered as proper device. 2. Modem transmits data in both directions. The issue is the signal RSSI is poor. Four antennas are connected properly because I use the same hardware configuration for Windows and there is -53 dBm. umb0: flags=8851<UP,POINTOPOINT,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500 index 11 priority 6 llprio 3 roaming disabled registration home network state up cell-class LTE rssi -101dBm speed 1.0Gps up 1.0Gps down SIM initialized PIN valid (3 attempts left) subscriber-id 260021 ICC-id 8948022 provider T-Mobile.pl device LM960A18 IMEI 356299 firmware 32.00.115-B007 phone# +48600 APN data dns 213.158.199.1 213.158.199.5 groups: egress status: active inet 178.183. --> 178.183. netmask 0xffffffc0 serv# usbdevs -v Controller /dev/usb0: addr 01: 8086:0000 Intel, xHCI root hub super speed, self powered, config 1, rev 1.00 driver: uhub0 addr 02: 1bc7:1041 Telit Wireless Solutions, LM960A18 super speed, power 224 mA, config 1, rev 3.18, iSerial 1378f76e driver: umb0 driver: ugen2 addr 03: 8087:0a2a Intel, Bluetooth full speed, self powered, config 1, rev 0.01 driver: ugen0 addr 04: 1357:1000 HL 0000 00 00 00 01, Smart Control full speed, power 200 mA, config 1, rev 1.00 driver: uhidev0 driver: uhidev1 driver: uhidev2 addr 05: 0bda:0129 Generic, USB2.0-CRW high speed, power 500 mA, config 1, rev 39.60, iSerial 20100201396000000 driver: ugen1 I supose the power for USB is poor 200 mA. In Windows is 895 mA. I tried different USB adapter, instead of USB 3.1 adapter I used USB 2.0 adapter, without success. No progress, despite the power increased to 500 mA on USB 2.0 . Thank you for any help and suggestions. Kind Regards, Arkadiusz Majewski
