I can confirm that this solves the problem. Talk about bleeding edge. I received my apu4c4 yesterday, tried to install OpenBSD on it today. First time using an APU, and *of course* I was hit by this bug. Fortunately I found the solution thanks to this email. After the upgrade to 4.11.0.2 I could continue installing OpenBSD 6.6. My apu4c4 was shipped from the store the same day as this patch came out. Had I waited one more day I would have been blissfully unaware. :)
