It seems too complicated. In principle only the a field "if" to printcap should be necessary.

Unfortunately dj6940 uses hplip. A filter from HP. That is not ghostscript. Does hplip run in OpenBSD? Do someone know how to configure a printer with hplip? Ist it possible with lpd or only cups? Rodrigo
