I have a machine with P4600, it mostly works ok.
I'm using the intel driver because I kept getting weird behaviour with
context menus appearing on the wrong display with inteldrm, not sure
quite what's up there but obviously something different in how multiple
monitors are handled.
I have problems with video playback from some programs but I'm not too
bothered (USB is xhci so uaudio doesn't work [and these days disabling
xhci breaks the usb keyboard too] so I mostly just use my phone for that.)
It's possible that this works with inteldrm, I haven't tried it recently.
I used to have a bunch of "freezes" where nothing responded for some
minutes at a time, which seems to have gone away after setting sysctl
kern.timecounter.hardware=acpihpet0 (default on this machine is tsc).
It's been like that for a while and again I haven't tried changing
that recently to see whether it's still needed.
