This is exactly what I have done, and it works very well. I just wanted to add that I included "inet6 autoconf -autoconfprivacy" in addition to "dhcp" in hostname.vio0, and I now have a dual-stack enabled server. I was pleasantly surprised that all the OpenBSD daemons I use "just work."
