zeur here. Just a note: mebuilt lynx few days ago, and found to me dismay that the 'external editor' functionality had been disabled in favour of pledges.
That was the start of the story. The middle doesn't really matter here,
but I ended up building it w/ the patches/ dir in rather pristine
condition...
