Hello,

I have a question about the config, A. and the BIOS setup if any for
obsd6.4, please point me in the right direction.

Also, is it possible to activate Sim, as I don't trust public Wi-Fi.

Thank you very much

I'm running a T430. Bluetooth doesn't work (Doesn't work under any OS other than Windows 7 and is kinda crap-tastic, especially combined with the terrible Intel Wireless chip it shares silicon with. As for the WWAN, just throw that junk away. No CellCo supports it anymore and they almost always require some application running on the OS to get it to actually do anything (And those application are only made for Windows and OS-X, if you are lucky).

But if you are concerned about security, going 3G/4G is a terrible idea. The technology is shit and requires running code that is pushed down by the TelCo that you can neither access nor control its operation beyond what the TelCo lets you while they still have full remote control over it (and a non-trivial amount of access to the rest of your system as well).

Really, you'd be much better off following rational security practices and using public WiFi. You'll be fine, or at least much better than on a WWAN connection. If you want, do what I do: TCP 22, 53, 80, 443 are the only out-bound ports allowed until I login, then I swap the rules for a pair of block all rules and allow traffic only out through a key-authenticated ssh tunnel I make with an OpenBSD machine I have running on the edge of my home network (And to get around a lot of blocks, I run OpenSSH on port 443 on the remote machine).
