You must set the VM's network adapter to 'Enable MAC address spoofing' under 'Advanced Features'.
nope this isn't solving the problem. I can only ping the virtual ip from the local machine still. It might need the NDIS Extention enabled on the vSwitch too but I did't changed that because of the probable network disconnection. I will give it a shot later.
