Hi All, I have a very simple carp setup - basically I want ssh access if the master goes offline. In theory, this are functioning correctly. In practice, it seems the backup is taking over way too often - the backup takes over way too often, even when I'm ssh'd to the master device.
master: inet 192.168.0.99 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.255 vhid 1 carpdev dwxe0 state master advskew 1 pass pass backup: inet 192.168.0.99 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.255 vhid 1 carpdev cnmac0 state backup advskew 10 pass pass Both are running openBSD snapshots of the latest for their platform (master is arm64; backup is octeon). I see there is a sysctl I can tweak regarding logging, but I don't know if that's what I need to do in order to find out what's happening.
