There are likely few people trying to suspend machines with wdc(4).

wdc_pcmcia_activate() lacks DVACT_SUSPEND and doesn't try to
save registers like pciide does.

On i386 if you disable pciide* wdc will attach which may be helpful for
anyone wanting to look at it with qemu/bochs or machines that normally
attach wd at pciide.
