NET-P <x> GW-Q <-> internet <-> GW-H <x> GW-V <x> NET-V
In the schematic above, '<x>' represents a NAT translation point. '<->' is a regular router interconnect.
Except for where I screwed up, of course. That should read: NET-P <x> GW-Q <-> internet <-> GW-H <x> GW-V <-> NET-V I.e. the GW-V <-> NET-V interface is native, not translated. Sorry for the screw-up :-P
