Hi!

I just noticed (the hard way) a strange behaviour of ifconfig. In short, if I supply a netmask when removing an alias with ``-alias <address>'', it is not, as one would expect, ignored, but rather used as the netmask for the primary address of the interface.

Thanks. A combination of being upset and that too often ocurring sensation of "I have followed misc for so long now and I sure have not seen this issue" made me overlook the archives.

Now I see the syntax error (ip address should be prior to [-]alias), and although I would have expected an error message rather than some undocumented behaviour, I suppose I'll learn to live with it since I do not have the time or skills to fix it.
