I really don't see the need for the latest & greatest & blobiest model... everything works on those old Thinkpads. Especially the X61s with an SSD and a smaller battery is close to 1kg ("2 pounds"), easy to carry and sturdy. Since those models are rather old you should get them pretty cheap. So buy a couple, in case you need spare parts. You probably will have to replace the battery, but there are lots of good/bad suppliers on the market. /Robert
