If it's just about the logs, can you write a grep script to simply filter them? If you want something more, ModSecurity might be worth a look. I'm not using Apache myself (and haven't for some years) so I haven't tried it.. It's not in ports but you might be able to get somewhere basing it off an existing port for an ap2-* module.
