That's great, really appreciate your input "tinker"

On a related note, if you install a Hemi engine in a Honda CRX, it
will blow your socks right off, right into the next province or
county.

We haven't got a Hemi. Haven't got a spare CRX either.

It sounds like you have access to such expensive hardware in your day
job.

We don't.

Who didn't solve that problem? People like you.

Do you wish me to ask the OpenBSD Foundation for access to such
hardware so that we can support it -- apparently for your benefit or
else your mail is easily interpeted as a mock -- rather than asking
for funds to be spent in valuable directions like hackathons, which
may produce code to do so?

Please Mr. Anon, indicate your preference.

I would feel uncomfortable finishing this conversation leaving an
impression that a misc mailer called "tinker" is a well-funded agent
speaking with knowledge about expensive hardware which I know little
about BECAUSE NONE OF US HAVE IT, because Tinker didn't put them it
into our hands.

Why would I not say such a thing? It might lead us to believe that
tinker is someone trying to mock everyone on this list.

I suspect your feelings of entitlement towards your paycheque is the
problem.

I'm am very glad I walked away from that trap 25 years ago, because
that allowed me to work with people who give a shit beyond posturing
on a mailing list using non-future-enhancing short-term phrases like
'That makes it the highest-ethernet connector density card available
today to the best of my awareness."

I'm glad your words got you somewhere "tinker". Around here, you
come off like a dick who didn't help everyone.
