If you are going to be using this program inside the chroot to modify images on the fly, you need to be careful what you put inside the chroot. Having to add a huge number of libraries and programs that something like ImageMagick uses would be a bad idea. And I like the idea of doing just that myself, that I'm going to do just that. Will save me a lot of time fiddling with images with gimp for other tasks than cropping and a little color fiddling. For re-sizing and rotating. I can do that on the fly. Fewer files, nice.
